  24. Location: \3RDPARTY\HTML\ASSIST\EXCEL\HTML.XLA

  26. The Internet Assistant for Microsoft Excel add-in file, HTML.XLA
  27. should reside in the Microsoft Excel Library directory. The path
  28. to this directory is different depending on which version of
  29. Microsoft Excel you are running. 
  30.  
  31. For standalone Excel 5.0, you will find the Library directory
  32. directly under the EXCEL directory (for example, C:\EXCEL\LIBRARY
  33. on a Microsoft Windows system and My Computer:Excel:Library on an
  34. Apple Macintosh system). 
  35.  
  36. For MS Office and Excel 7.0, you will find the Library directory
  37. under the MSOFFICE and EXCEL directories (for example, 
  38. C:\MSOFFICE\EXCEL\LIBRARY).

  40. Installation Instructions 
  41. 1. Copy HTML.XLA to the Microsoft Excel Library Directory (See above
  42.    for platform specific pathname). 
  43. 2. Run Microsoft Excel 
  44. 3. On the Tools menu, select Add-Ins. 
  45. 4. Check the Internet Assistant Wizard checkbox. 
  46. 5. Click OK.

  51. Powerpoint

  53. Location: \3RDPARTY\HTML\ASSIST\POWERPNT\PPTIA.EXE

  55. Before you begin installation, make sure you've installed Microsoft
  56. PowerPoint for Windows 95. The Internet Assistant won't work with
  57. PowerPoint 4.0 or earlier versions. If multiple users share a
  58. computer, you'll need to install an Internet Assistant for each
  59. user needing this functionality. You must also be able to write to
  60. your PowerPoint directory, so some network installations and "run
  61. from CD" installations won't be able to use this add-in.

  63. 1. Close PowerPoint if it's running.
  64. 2. Copy pptia.exe to a temporary directory on your hard drive.
  65. 3. Run pptia.exe, which will expand into 4 files (1 executable and
  66.    3 informational).
  67. 4. Run Ia4ppt95.exe, which will install the Powerpoint Internet
  68.    Assistant.

  78. Note: Internet Assistant for Schedule+ will work for Windows 95
  79. and NT 4.0 users only.

  81. 1.Before installing the Internet Assistant, make sure that the
  82. Schedule+ application is not open.
  83.  
  84. 2.To install, simply copy SCHIA.EXE to your hard drive and run.
  85. The installation process is automatic and does not require any
  86. user input.

  88. 3.To uninstall, bring up the Control Panel, then double-click the
  89. Add/Remove Programs icon. Select the Microsoft Schedule+ Internet
  90. Assistant item and click the Add/Remove button.

  98. included on this CD.  They are:

  104. Internet Explorer 3.0 beta users must download Internet Assistant
  105. 2.03 beta in order to use Microsoft Word as a web authoring tool 
  106. Internet Assistant 2.03 beta is for people who are using Microsoft
  107. Internet Explorer 3.0 beta and would also like to benefit from
  108. Microsoft Word for Windows 95 as their web page authoring tool.
  109. This beta works with the German, English, French, Italian, Finnish,
  110. Spanish, Dutch, Swedish, Russian, Danish, Norwegian, Portuguese,
  111. Greek, Czech, Polish, Hungarian, Turkish, and Slovenian versions of
  112. Microsoft Word.

  142. Setup instructions (all versions):

  144. 1. For easiest cleanup, first create a new temporary subdirectory on
  145. your system's hard disk and place the appropriate Word IA file within
  146. that     subdirectory.

  148. NOTE: Do not use the WINWORD nor WINWORD\INTERNET subdirectories, or
  149. Setup will fail.
  150.  
  151. 2. From the Windows 95 Explorer or File Manager, double-click the
  152.    self-extracting file. Setup will begin automatically.
